LOCKED AND LOADED

50 Cent's upcoming film debut, Locked and Loaded, has a lot of hype surrounding it as well as stirring rumors that it is 50's shot at getting an Oscar. Yes, that's right. I just typed Oscar. It is directed by Jim Sheridan and "focuses on an orphaned former drug dealer who puts his criminal past behind him to pursue rapping." Sound familiar....(cough) 8 Mile (cough)?
